Restore Lost Contacts

One of the great benefits of cloud based systems such as Google Apps is that you can easily recover lost files if you’ve deleted them. In most cases the user can do this themselves and the administrator of the system can even control for how long some data is stored before being permanently deleted.

Recently one of my clients had their email account compromised and lost their email contacts. This can be quite a stressful experience, but fortunately it is easy to restore your contacts with these easy steps which show you how to restore lost email contacts in Gmail:

  1. Open up your Mail application;
  2. Click Mail > Contacts;
  3. Click More > Restore Contacts;
  4. Select how far back you wish to go and Mail will restore your email contacts.

If you’d like help learning more about Google Apps or maximising how you team use your systems, get in touch with us.
