These courses are designed to give you confidence and skill to support your learners to engage in the NZ curriculum and be successful.
Led by expert facilitators who are former principals, teachers and IT experts, these courses will give you practical skills, knowledge and strategies to apply to your role immediately.
Inclusive practices
Not all learners have the same experience at school. Creating an inclusive culture in your school is the way to overcome this.
This workshop will explore the meaning of inclusive learning communities and what it looks like in your school. You will understand the core beliefs that drive inclusive learning and the barriers we strive to overcome.
You will learn strategies to enhance your school’s inclusive learning community using Universal Design for Learning, as well as join a learning community to engage with as you develop your skills.
- Cost: $500 per TA (excl. GST) fully-funded by the MoE (MoE will also fund TA wages to take part)
- Duration: total of 4.5 hours delivered in three workshops (please see individual course description)
- Includes: certificate of completion, access to online platform, readings and materials, mini action research project to undertake at school
This course meets TA competency category 6: inclusion.
Digital skills for TAs
Increase your confidence and skill in a variety of platforms and tools. Choose from a range of workshops which include various aspects:
- general IT skills (eg email, shared documents, communication)
- useful tools to support diverse learners
- ways to capture and share student learning
- use drones, VR and other amazing tools to engage learners
- creating resources with super-speed using AI
- strategies to support monitoring and assessment
Each course will be customised to your needs.
- Cost: $500 per TA (excl. GST) fully-funded by the MoE (MoE will also fund TA wages to take part)
- Duration: total of 6 hours delivered in in a flexible manner (please see individual course description)
- Includes: certificate of completion, course materials and resources
This course meets TA competency category 8 and 12: learning support & professional skills.
Learning support
Learn about EROs practical guide for TAs with follow up activities to conduct back in school.
Includes access to our online platform for supporting your ongoing reflection and application in your role, as well as practical activities and reading materials.
- Cost: $500 per TA (excl. GST) fully-funded by the MoE (MoE will also fund TA wages to take part)
- Duration: 6 hours delivered in three workshops (see individual course description)
- Includes: certificate of completion, access to online platform, readings and materials, actions to undertake back at school

Learn at your own pace in your own time with our online learning community.
Have your questions answered in online forums, take part in self-paced courses designed to upskill you in the Google environment.
